Ballyarnett Harvest Festival this weekend

The Minister of Ballyarnett Presbyterian Church has extended a warm welcome to congregation and visitors for the church’s Harvest Festival, which will take place this Sunday, October 18 and on Monday, October 19.

The Festival Opening service takes place on Sunday at 12pm and the guest of honour will be Mrs Vindi Torney, City of Londonderry High Sheriff.

Mrs Torney will officially open the festival at the conclusion of the service, which will be at 1pm, and afterwards the Church building will be open for viewing of the harvest displays, from 1.30pm to 4.30pm and again on Monday from 11am to 4pm.

Light refreshments will be served in the Church hall.

The Festival closing service will take place on Monday at 7.30pm, when the special guests will be Drumachose Presbyterian Church Choir and Music Group.

An offering will be taken up in aid of Rainbow Rehoming Centre, Eglinton.

Harvest Supper served in the Church hall afterwards.
