60-year-old man has died following Claudy crash


A sixty-year-old man has died in hospital after a crash near Claudy on Tuesday afternoon, August 2.

Three men were taken to hospital following the collision between a car and a van on the Foreglen Road.

The collision was reported at 4.05pm.

The sixty-year-old man who was a passenger in the Mazda car involved has died.

The other two men, the drivers of the Mazda and the second vehicle a Mercedes van, are not believed to have sustained any life threatening injuries.

Witnesses are asked to contact police by calling 101.
