Waterside Theatre: Black Moon Disco

The Waterside Theatre will be hosting a fantastic event next week, geared towards adults with learning disabilities as part of the PHA funded Access and Inclusion programme, organised by Derry City and Strabane District Council.

Black Box’s Black Moon Disco, the first of its kind organised in the Council area, takes place monthly and is the perfect opportunity to meet new people and have fun.

The Black Moon Disco is a concept that has been embraced by numerous groups based in Omagh, Enniskillen and Strabane and it’s hoped that the event will be just as successful here in the city.

As well as being a great night’s craic, it gives disco goers the chance to learn new skills and have fun in a safe and positive environment.

The event runs from at 7pm to 9pm on Tuesday, February 23, and is followed by a disco with music old and new, from Abba to Elvis, Nathan Carter to Katy Perry.

Admission is only £3 per adult and, as part of The Waterside Theatre’s commitment to developing a companion procedure, carers and parents can be admitted for free to this event.

Tickets for the disco can be bought at the door on the night.
