Local woman Ashleigh Coyle is the runner up of reality TV show Big Brother.
The teen was pipped to the post in a closely contested final losing to Helen.
Wearing a beautiful sparkly dress Ashleigh waved to the crowd to a mixture of pantomime boos and cheers.
Earlier in the show viewers were shown the final six contestants having a meal together on the last night.
Ashleigh told Helen she was glad they had worked things out.
She said she hoped viewers would remember her for good reasons and added that she would be really sad to go.
“I don’t know how I’m feeling, this is the happiest you’ve seen me all series,” said Ashleigh.
Emma Willis, presenter, revealed there was just one per cent separating Ashleigh and Helen in the final vote.
Ashleigh grimaced as she was shown back footage of some of the disagreements she and Helen had in the house.
She revealed it had been difficult to stand up to Helen.
“Our differences were so big they stood out straight away,” she said.
“We were both very determined.
“But I’m over the moon for her and I am really glad we sorted things out. Me and Helen would get on great in the outside world.”
She described fellow contestant Chris as her rock, always telling her when she was “too spoiled.”
