TULLYALLY man Daryl Gurney’s PDC Ladbrokes World Darts Championship adventure has ended.

Gurney, who defeated Robert Marijanovic and Andy Smith last weekend, lost his second round encounter to friend Dave Chisnall 4-1, at Alexandra Palace, this afternoon.

The 26-year-old is hoping to return to London for next year’s championships and he’s also looking to try and push himself into the PDC circuit.

Having defeated the St Helen’s man in their previous two meetings all be it in a shorter format, Gurney wasn’t able to continue his winning streak and Chisnall progressed to the last 16 stage of the competition.
