Opening win for Clann at start of new campaign
Glenn hit back with a point of their own to equalise but Liam Devlin put the Clann ahead again with a well taken point from close range after good link up play from Feeney and Quinn.
Marty Buchanan increased the Clann’s lead with a long range effort after good movement from Devlin and the two McGarry’s to find space.

Hide AdGlenn closed the gap back to one point with a well taken free before the Clann scored two frees of their own, Quinn and Devlin both pointing to give the Clann a three point lead.
Rory Hill finished off the first half point from play to send the Clann in at half time leading 0-6 to 0-2. Glenn came out strong in the second half, pointing from the kick off.
Clann responded with Stevie McArdle taking on his man and pointing well from play to restore the Clann’s four point lead. Glenn then had their best spell of the game, scoring four unanswered points, two from play and two from free kicks to level the game at seven points each. JP Gartland enetered the game for Gary Quinn as the Clann tried to regain control of the game.
Clann regained the lead after Stevie McArdle pointed from a free. Glenn again came back at the Clann, scoring three quick points to give them a two point lead with time running out. Darren McGrath broke free from his man and lashed the ball to the back of the net to restore Clann’s lead.

Hide AdThe game was level once more, with Glenn scoring from play and leaving the game destined for a draw.
Connor Lenaghan found himself in space to point from distance and give the Clann a one point lead once more in the match.
