It was a great start to the season for Killyclooney but not so the Bonds Glen men who entertain Drummond next weekend not wanting to go much longer waiting for their first win.

Home advantage always makes them a tougher nut to crack but Steve Moore’s side will be keen to build on Saturday’s win against Newbuildings.

Drummond are up for a promotion scrap this season and the skipper knows that these are the sort of matches they have to win for that aim to become a reality.

It’s another tough game for the new boys next too as they go to Ballymagorry hoping to lower Fox Lodge’s colours.

Although Brian Allen’s side start favourites, it is sure to be a very keenly contested, and quite possibly a noisy affair.

Glendermott are at home again but are likely to find rejuvenated Killyclooney a bit more of a handful than the below-par Creevedonnell at the weekend.

Eden Links looks a good player but he will face more potent attacks over the coming weeks as he bids to boost his new team’s push.

For their part, Andy Barr’s team will be keen to put up a better showing when they entertain Burndennett in next Saturday’s other fixture.
