Timlin misses Athlone game

Derry City travel to Athlone Town this afternoon (Sunday KO 4pm) with a number of injury problems.

Derry City's Mark Timlin is missing this afternoon's game at Athone Town through injury.

The Brandywell side who are without duo Cliff Byrne (suspended) and David Elebert (calf injury) have also Mark Timlin missing.

The left winger who netted his first goal for the Candystripes in Thursday night’s Europa League win over Aberystwyth Town also injured his hib flexor in the game.

Philip Lowry is likely to come in for Timlin, but new signing Stephen Dooley has yet to receive is international clearance and therefore won’t be involved.

Incidentally this afternoon’s game at Lissywoollen will be live on Drive 105.3FM from 3.45pm.
