Donemana got their first points of the season last Saturday with an excellent 3-2 win at Lincoln Courts with Timothy Dougherty Ricky Lee Dougherty and a cracker from Jason Milligan their goal scorers.

BBOB tales of woe continued when they went down 5-1 at home to Draperstown Celtic, meanwhile in a thriller in the City cup Claudy Rovers needed extra time to see off Lisahally 3-2 with the winner coming from Oran Armstrong.

It’s Irish Junior cup week this Saturday with eight North West sides in action.

BBOB v Harland and Wolff U20

The Old Boys usually reserve their best form for this competition but they are on a bad run of results not helped by losing a number of players, their confidence is at an all time low and they badly need a result from somewhere.

Their Belfast opponents are obviously a very young side, but you can be sure that they will be full of running and enthusiasm, can the Old Boys match that?

Prediction: BBOB.

Bessbrook United v Drummond/Limavady United

The men from Fermanagh have slipped up in recent seasons and they are not the force of old, however with home advantage they will still be difficult to beat.

The Roesiders are having an excellent season so far, they are playing as a team with some exciting players in their ranks, their good form may continue.

Prediction: Drummond/Limavady United.

Tullyally v Ambassadors

The Colts suffered a heavy defeat at Ardmore last week and their season has yet to take off, that said they are a better side than the results so far have indicated, however they must stop conceding goals.

Their opponents ply their trade in the Mid Ulster First Division, they have had a mixed start to the season winning three and losing three, home advantage may see the Colts home.

Prediction: Tullyally Colts.

NFC Kesh v Lincoln Courts

Kesh play in the highly competitive Fermanagh and Western First Division, but they have struggled and are currently at the bottom of the table still waiting for their first win of the season.

The Courts after a good start to the season have slipped up in their last two games losing both, they will want to put that right and this would be the perfect time to get back to winning ways.

Prediction: Lincoln Courts.

Bangor Reserves v Foyle Wanderers

The home side sit in mid table in the Mid Ulster First Division they are reportedly a big strong physical side and they can be difficult to beat on their home patch, well organised so they will be difficult opponents.

Wanderers are playing with a lot of confidence a lot of that has to do with their management team, they have quality throughout their side and although this may be their biggest test so far they can come through with a victory.

Prediction: Foyle Wanderers.

Garvagh v Roe Rovers

The home side have a decent record in this competition and with home advantage and supported by a decent crowd they will fancy their chances.

Rovers are having an okay season so far but they would dearly love a run in this competition, well organised and fit they will give their all, but that may not be enough.
