The game was all about the first half and Donemana got off to a flying start when they took the lead on five minutes when a corner by Jason Milligan was flicked on by Stephen Dunn and fired in from close range by Alan McFaul to give Donemana an early lead.

It got better two minutes later when Milligan again fired in a cross and Eglinton defender in an attempt to clear was only able to put the ball past his own goalkeeper to give Donemana a 2-0 lead still inside the opening ten minutes.

Moments later Timothy Dougherty made it 3-0 when he was played through by Stephen Dunn and coolly fired past the keeper.

It was a dream start for Donemana who were playing great football and had another couple of chances from Jason Milligan and Michael McBeth going just wide.

It was 4-0 on the half hour mark when Kyle Dougherty converted another Jason Milligan cross.

Just before the break Donemana’s stand in goalkeeper TJ Nichol made a good save pushing the ball around the post.

Manager Ivor Dunn was very satisfied with how the team were playing.

The second half was a quieter affair but Donemana were still creating chances and Andy Britton and Ross Campbell were marshalling the defence very well putting in some good tackles.

Timothy Dougherty, William McBrine and Jason Milligan all had chances to increase the lead but could not find the net.

In the closing stages Eglinton scored a consolation penalty.
