FOOTBALL: Foyle Bellies win prestigious ESF International accolade

The girls took part in the ESF International Youth Festival of Football and produced some great football to secure the title.

The girls played unbelievable and they’re a credit to the club.

This was the first time in Paris and now they are coming back home with the ESF International Cup.

In the semi-final they had a comfortable 2-0 win over French side CS Meaux, while although they had a similar score-line, things were a lot tougher in the final against Scarborough Town.

The success means that the Belles now qualify for the Champions Cup.

They along with all the winners from the UK and France and Spain come together to play for the Champion Cup, which will be held at England training camp at St George’s in the first week in July.
