Ardmore will be hoping Anthony Hargan is on top of his game defensively during this weekend's Irish Juior Cup tie.

Ardmore will be hoping Anthony Hargan is on top of his game defensively during this weekend's Irish Juior Cup tie.

NORTH West junior soccer returns after the seasonal break. Two local sides face difficult away trips in the last 32 of the Coca Cola Irish Junior Cup.

Ardmore travel to Lisnaskea Rovers while Ballykelly United make the long journey to play Celtic Club Lurgan Number One.

Due to the Irish Junior cup games there are just three Premier Division games with a full programme in the other Divisions.

Lisnaskea Rovers v Ardmore

The home side are top of Division Two of the Fermanagh and Western league, they are previous winners of the competition and are currently unbeaten in their league, they play on an 3G pitch which may give them a slight edge.

Ardmore fear no one and this could be their season to bring the coveted trophy back to the North West after a long number of years.

Manager Damien McGee thinks the surface will suit his side who like to get the ball down and knock it about, this could be close with the visitors the selection.

Prediction: Ardmore.

Celtic Club Lurgan Number One v Ballykelly United

The Lurgan side are reported to be a big physical side which should suit the ground conditions, they are having a decent league campaign and will be favourites to progress.

The Kings Lane side after a decent start to the season have gone off the boil and are lingering at the bottom of the table, they have also lost a couple of players to neighbours Eglinton.

Prediction: Celtic Club Lurgan Number One.

Premier Division

Lincoln Courts v Eglinton

The Courts showed a bit of improvement before the break although they are still well behind the leaders, with the players they have they should be doing a lot better.

Eglinton have strengthened lately and they are going all out to win the title, with one of their dangers involved in the Junior Cup they will see this as a must win game.

Prediction: Score Draw.

Tullyally Colts v Caw

The home side had their best result of the season before the break when they travelled to the previously unbeaten Ardmore and returned with the three points, that should give them the confidence to push on.

Caw also gave Ardmore a fright recently although they lost that one, they have a decent side when they are all free from injuries and the break may enable them to get some of their players back.

Prediction: Score Draw.

BBOB v City Colts

The Old Boys have had a few disappointing results in the first half of the season but they are still very much in contention for the league title, they currently top the table and will be expecting a win here.

The Colts are one of the best footballing sides in the Division, however the more physical sides seem to put them off their game as their league position shows.

Prediction: BBOB.
