ONLY two of the six scheduled Matt Morrison Junior cup ties beat the elements with the postponed games taking place this Saturday.

In the two games that did take place City Colts for the second week in a row defeated Caw although Caw weren’t helped when they lost their goalkeeper Christopher Ross with a pulled muscle with the game scoreless as he had kept his side in the game with a string of outstanding saves.

BBOB fielding a number of youngsters were to strong for Newbuildings United Reserves and ran out easy winners.

As well as the rearranged Matt Morrison Junior Cup games there are four games in the Premier Division this Saturday.

Premier Division

Ballykelly v City Colts

The home side are rooted to the bottom of the table with only one win in six games, things are becoming desperate and a drop into the First Division might do them good.

The Colts have moved in to the top four with some impressive performances in recent weeks, they are going to have a big say in where the title ends up and should continue their winning run.

Prediction: City Colts.

Drummond v BBOB

Not for the first time Drummond’s game was postponed last week, it is becoming more and more difficult for their management team to keep their players motivated as they continue to struggle.

The Old Boys broke with tradition last Saturday when they included a number of youngsters into their side something that they hope to continue doing for the rest of the season.

Prediction: BBOB.

Lincoln Courts v Tullyally Colts

The Courts currently occupy a top four position but they are six points behind the leaders who also have games in hand over them, if they had of produced their true form at the beginning of the season then they would now have been serious title contenders.

The Colts have become the draw specialists of the division with seven of their eleven games ending all square, however a top four finish is still up for grabs.

Prediction: Lincoln Courts.

Newbuildings United Res v Caw

Both these sides have had difficult seasons so far, the home side are looking enviously at the form of their first eleven who are running away with the Intermediate league title.

Caw once again have been hit with injuries and they have lost their last couple of games only by the odd goal it has to be said, a score draw looks the likely outcome.

Prediction: Score Draw.
