The North West Junior soccer season got underway last night (Tuesday).

We look at the teams in the Premier Division to find players who have come in and those who have departed.

Last seasons champions Ardmore already have a trophy in the cabinet after defeating Drummond 4-3 in last Saturday’s Summer Cup Final, they have retained most of last sesaons side.

Foyle Wanderers will be missing leading marksman Robbie Godfrey who has moved to Ardstraw while mid fielder Davy Scanlon has retired.

Draperstown who have won consecutive promotions will be a force to be reckoned with especially at home

they have also added to their squad. Lisahally have been busy in the summer months adding Harkin, Jackson, McShane and McGinley to what already was a very strong panel.

BBOB who had their worst season ever last time round have reportedly lost Stuarty Moore to Foyle Wanderers McCreadie, Garden and Cooke have also departed so they have brought four new faces in.

Lincoln Courts who also disappointed last season have virtually the same panel this time round.

Drummond are another side unchanged but showed that they will be a force having already played in the Summer Cup final.

Donemana newly promoted have experienced striker Ricky Lee Dougherty rejoining the club they will be nobodys pushover. Claudy Rovers are going with the same squad as last season while Tullyall have lost keeper McFall to Newbuildings.
