Poor weekend for Youths

editorial image

IT was a very disappointing weekend for Institute’s Youths sides, as neither the U13, 14 or 15 managed to get a win.

The Under 13’s lost 3-0 at Glenavon, Armagh City Youths defeated the U14’s 6-0, while Foyle Harps beat the Under 15’s 5-0.

This weekend sees the return of the North West and Coleraine District Youth League at Ballysally after the winter break.

The U11 face Magherafelt Sky Blues Galaxy at Ballysally (KO 10.30am); U13 take on Coleraine Academy at Lisneal Grass (KO 11am); U14 come up against Bertie Peacock and the Under 15 host Bloomfield at Wilton Park (KO 11am).

The winter break is now over so children the Mini Soccer is back up and running on Friday nights at St Columbs Par from 7pm until 8pm.

It caters for all primary school age children and costs £2 per child and all newcomers are very welcome.
