Institute manager Kevin Deery believes all the hard work Michael McCrudden put in during the close season is paying off.
The talented midfielder has scored four goals in their opening six games this campaign.
“Michael was probably doubting himself last year because he wasn’t in peak condition, but it’s up to an individual to go and get themselves fit,” he said.
“We have 20 other men to manage and they are there to do extra gym session but it really has to come from within the person, and that is what Michael has done.
“He has shown the desire to get himself stronger and fitter and that is evident now and he’s getting his rewards for it.”
