INSTITUTE: Promotion play-off dates set

The Irish Football Association has confirmed that the arbitration in the matter of Warrenpoint Town versus the IFA Appeals Committee will be heard tomorrow (Thursday) by an arbitrator appointed by Sports Resolutions UK.

Whatever the outcome of that hearing, the wheels have been set in motion for the second leg of Institute’s game against Ballinamallard United to take place on Wednesday, June 15 (KO 7.45pm) Whitey Anderson’s side lead 2-1 from the first leg.

However, if Warrenpoint’s appeal is successful then they would face Kevin Deery’s men in a two legged play-off.

The first leg of that will take place at Drumahoe, on Tuesday, June 14 and the second leg is scheduled for Friday, June 17, and both legs will kick-off at 7.45pm.

Meanwhile, Stute’s Supporters Club held their Annual General Meeting this week and Ian Culbert remains club Chairman and Ivan Rutherford treasurer.
