The Candy Stripes have already defeated Shane Keegan’s side twice in the Airtricity Premier Division this season, a 1-2 away victory in March thanks to goals from Conor McCormack and Rory Patterson and a 1-0 Brandywell victory in June thanks to a Nathan Boyle strike.

Elsewhere, holders Dundalk will face a trip to First Division outfit UCD should they overcome Leinster Senior League side Crumlin United in their rearranged 3rd Round tie but the tie of the round is the all-Premier Division clash between Shamrock Rovers and high flying Cork City. Finally, St Patrick’s Athletic take on Cobh Ramblers at Richmond Park.

The Irish Daily Mail FAI Cup Quarter Final draw in full:

Wexford Youths v DERRY CITY

UCD AFC v Crumlin United or Dundalk FC

Shamrock Rovers v Cork City

St Patrick’s Athletic v Cobh Ramblers

Games will take place on the week ending September 11th.
