Former Institute midfielder Aaron McEneff has been released by English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.

The ex-Maiden city academy graduate spend three years with the White Hart Lane men before his release this summer.

McEneff, whose younger brother Jordan is expected to sign for of Spurs North London rivals Arsenal after shinning particularly for St Columb’s College in this year’s Northern Ireland Schools FA Cup triumph, is hoping to get another chance across the water next season.

It would be ironic if teenager Jordan, who has believed to have been offered a deal with the FA Cup winners, moved to London with his big brother not being their to help him settle into life in the Big Smoke.

Jordan played his part in St Columb’s schools cup win this year scoring twice in the final against St Joseph’s.
