TRIO Patrick McEleney, Kevin Deery and Mark Farren are all out of tonight’s (Friday) Premier Division clash against undefeated St Patrick’s Athletic (KO 7.05pm)

The game which is in front of the RTE cameras is another tough encounter for the Candy Stripes, as they aim to get back to winning ways.

Declan Devine’s side have failed to win in the league since their 2-0 success over Cork City, at the Brandywell, in March, however in recent weeks they have secured two impressive score draws at leaders Sligo Rovers and champions Shamrock Rovers.

As for Liam Buckley’s men they are still unbeaten in their nine games and missed a glorious chance to claim all three points at the Sligo Showgrounds last week, when Christy Fagan blasted over a last minute penalty; while a few weeks ago St Pat’s did have an outstanding 5-1 victory over Stephen Kenny’s side, so they travel to the Brandywell in confident mood.
