DERRY City will make their second signing later today, with the arrival of midfielder Sean Houston.
The former Bray Wanderers midfielder, will sign a one year deal with Candy Stripes this afternoon and boss Declan Devine is happy to add another player to his squad, after bringing Paddy Kavanagh to the Brandywell a few weeks ago.
“Sean is a quality player, who can play in a number of positions, but his best position is midfield,” admitted the Derry manager.
“He’s a box to box type player, who can also play at in defence; in my opinion he was Bray’s best player last season, so I’m delighted to have got him and Paddy Kavanagh.”
Devine also confirmed that he hopes to add another player to his side in the not too distance future, with Dundalk striker Michael Rafter believed to be at the top of his wanted list.
