Former Derry City winger James McClean admits he’s settling in nicely with his new team-mates at West Brom Albion.
The talented 26-year-old moved to the Premier League side last month from Wigan Athletic and he concedes ex-Sunderland and Wigan team-mates Craig Gardner, Stephane Sessegnon and Callum McManaman have helped him settle into life with the Baggies.
“I have settled in really well here, the lads have been tremendous and I am really enjoying being around them,” McClean told West Brom Albion’s official website.
“They have been really welcoming and I don’t feel like the new boy at all.
“I feel very much part of the group.
“I feel as though I have settled really quickly because the players are such an easy bunch to get on with.
“I know Gards, Sess and Macca but it hasn’t just been those three that have helped me bed in, it has been the whole group.
“There are plenty of different characters in the dressing room and a lot of talent too.”
