Glenavon lost their third league game on the bounce as Crusaders came out on top 3-1 on Easter Tuesday.

It was a much changed Lurgan Blues from the one that defeated Stephen Baxter’s men recently in the Irish Cup semi-final, but the home side had no luck in front of goal when they did managed to threaten the Crues defence.

Declan Caddell’s goal inside the first minute gave the visitors a 1-0 lead at the break and despite gowing 3-0 down Glenavon eventually got some reward for their efforts when Andy McGrory pulled a goal back late on from the penalty spot.

Earlier Glenavon had hit the post and had a stonewall penalty turned down.

William Murphy gave his reaction to the game in our special video interview.
