THE draws have been made for the various cup competitions which come under the auspices of the Derry Midweek League, including the Premership and Championship Faughan Valley competitions.

As usual there is a split between the Derry and Tyrone sections, with the tie of the round taking place at The Holm between holders Donemana and 2011 winners Bready.

Fox Lodge entertain Strabane at Ballymagorry in the other tie.

In Derry, newly promoted Eglinton face a tough task against Brigade while Coleraine must make the journey to The Rectory to face Glendermott.

In the Championship games, Burndennett have home advantage against St Johnston while Newbuildings make their debut in the tournament at home to Bond’s Glen.

In the other games, Ardmore host Drummond, while Creevedonnell must travel to Killyclooney.

The first round games will take place on Thursday 16th May, with the respective Section finals on Thursday June 13th.

The grand finals will once again take place at Beechgrove, with the games scheduled for Sunday July 21st.
