Ballyclare get the better of Omagh
Ballyclare have one foot firmly in the promotion door to Qualifying League Section 1, following a vital win against chief challengers Omagh on Saturday.
The Tyrone lads were well in contention in Ballyclare until home lock Graham McKinstry scored the decisive touchdown that sealed a hard fought 21-16 victory.
Visiting full-back David Ward kicked three penalties and converted Murphy’s try to keep the result in doubt until the final stages, but in the end they had to admit defeat to a much-changed home outfit.
