Still all to play for in Premier Division
THERE are still four teams in with a chance of winning the Premier Division and with most teams playing two games per week this could well go down to the wire.
There are four games down for decision on Saturday with only Lincoln Courts of the main challengers without a game.
Maghera Strollers v Sion Swifts
This is without a doubt the match of the day between two sides challenging for the title. The home side are facing a back log of fixtures due to their involvement in various cup competitions and this may be their undoing.
Sion are playing with great confidence and no one would argue if they were to go all the way, this could be tight with a draw the likely outcome.
Prediction: Score Draw.
Newtowne v Burndennett
The Limavady men will have one ear on what is happening at Maghera as they go all out to lift the title. They have played consistently well for the majority of the season and they would be worthy champions.
The Tyrone men look as if they are going to avoid the drop as their form has improved in recent games however the home side look to strong and should collect the points.
Prediction: Newtowne.
Drummond v Ardmore
These two sides promised a lot at the beginning of the season but they have fallen below expectations, the Roesiders especially have had one of their worst seasons in history.
Ardmore lost a couple of games they were expected to win recently however they have reached the semi final of the City Cup so their season is far from over, they might have the greater desire and may leave with the points.
Prediction: Ardmore.
BBOB v Roe Rovers
Yet another two sides who have under achieved this season, the Old Boys have been inconsistent for the majority of this season although on paper they have the players who should be up challenging for the title.
Rovers are staring relegation in the face when you look at the great run they had in the Irish Junior Cup it is a mystery as to why they find themselves second from bottom they may lose again.
Prediction: BBOB.
