WHAT a week this might turn out to be for Newtowne Football Club.
The Roesiders Reserve team can book their place in the Supplementary Cup final, if they defeat Lincoln Courts Reserves tonight (Wednesday), while in the Premier Division a win on Saturday over Ardmore would see the First team secure the title.
Supplementary Cup
Newtowne Reserves v Lincoln Court Reserves
On paper this shouldn't really be a contest, as the Limavady men are on a high having finished in mid-table in the Second Division, while the Courts were relegated after finishing bott
om of the First Division.
Nevertheless the Waterside out-fit will be aiming for another cup final and with a big support expected they may cause and upset.
Prediction: Newtowne Reserves.

Sion Swifts Reserves v Eglinton Reserves
Another tie which prior to kick-off could be a one sided affair.
Eglinton finished mid-table in the Second Division and because of that there season has petered out.
For Sion they only finished a few points above the relegation zone in the First Division, however with an impressive youth set-up their young players just might have a spring in their step to progress to the final.
Prediction: Sion Swifts Reserves.

Premier Division

Newtowne v Ardmore
Having suffered the heartache of losing the title on the final day last season, Newtowne have shown great determination this year.
With a number of high profile players in their squad, the Limavady side will be expecting silverware this weekend.
As for Ardmore, they have had a topsy turvey campaign, with Liam Coyle's departure as manager, they have struggled and with the cricket season now started Dave Higgins has been struggling to get a side.
Prediction: Newtowne.

Maghera Strollers v BBOB
Another meaningless fixture for both sides, although Don Olphert will be expecting his side to end on a high.
Maghera who only a few weeks ago had an outside chance of claiming the title, will be hoping home advantage can help them.
Prediction: Draw.

Sion Swifts v Lincoln Courts
If Newtowne were to slip-up against Ardmore, either of these two sides could win the championship.
Lincoln currently sit two points behind the leaders, while Sion are a further point adrift. Wayne Glenn's side will be hoping that Robbie Godfrey and Gary King can get them the goals, however they know that things are going to be difficult at Sion.
Prediction: Draw.
