SENTINEL Sport and Highland Radio cricket correspondent Eamonn McLaughlin gives his predictions for the forthcoming Billy Henderson Properties Ltd Senior One campaign.
The North West cricket season gets underway on Saturday with the hope that all the grounds will be playable.
There have been a number of changes in personnel among some clubs and below we take a look at who will be playing for who in the coming mont
hs.
We will also try to predict who will finish in what order come September.

Brigade
Last seasons champions have made a couple of signings, they have brought in former Eglinton all rounder Richard Wylie, Paul Stafford who has been playing his cricket in the Northern Union the last number of years.
Plus wicket keeper Jason Scott from Drummond Wajutullah Wasti returns as their professional and with players like Iftikhar Hussain, Gordon Cooke still the best opening bowler in the North West and Stephen Smyth they once again will be the side to beat. Charlie Elder will skipper the side.
Prediction: First.

Limavady
The Roesiders have a new professional Pakistan Agha Sabir Ali he is a left hand opening bat and has played 63 first class games in his home land and is also a medium pace bowler, he has a top score of 196.
Decker Curry has decided to play at least another season and with players of the quality of David Cooke captain, Ian McGregor and the McDaid brothers they will be a side to be reckoned with.
Prediction: Second.

Donemana
Runners up last season they have reportedly lost Richard Kee to Fox Lodge he will be missed.
The McBrine twins who were rumoured to be retiring will be their again along with Azhar Shaffique and their usual squad.
Dwayne McGarrigle has taken over the captaincy from Jordan McGonigle, they will as usual be up their challenging.
Prediction: Third.

Glendermott
Could be the surprise packets, they have been very active in the close season with the signing of North Downs opening batsman Neil Russell and left arm opening bowler Marty Dalzell.
Hasan Raza of course will be here for all of the season and we all know what he is capable of, Johnny Thompson will skipper the side.
Prediction: Fourth

Strabane
They will have new skipper Peter Gillespie available all season but they may not have their impressive opening bowler Phil Eaglestone for a lot of the season due to his international commitments. Johnathan Bueckes returns as their overseas pro and he was impressive last season, while they have also added John Bennett from the Hills.
Prediction: Fifth.

Bready
Trevor Britten has been re-appointed as captain and they will have Roly Black as his vice captain. Frikkie Holtzhausen returns, there is some doubt about their excellent opening batsman Chris Dougherty's availability for part of the season otherwise the side will be on the usual lines.
Prediction: Sixth.

Eglinton
Andy Christie is in charge of the villagers and they have signed ex Glendermott and Fox Lodge professional Pravanjan Mullick who knows all about the teams in the North West.
They have a number of promising young players who should come to the fore this season and in Johnny Gardiner they have an excellent strike bowler.
Prediction: Seventh.

Ardmore
How will they perform in the top division, they have a number of players who have played at this level before namely Gerard and Paul Brolly and they welcome back opening bat and wicket keeper Kevin Martin.
They have two promising youngsters in Lee and Brian Brolly so the outlook is good. George Brolly remains as captain with Rizwan Aslam returning as their professional.
Prediction: Eighth.

Fox Lodge
Gary Neely takes over the captaincy at Ballymagorry and his experience should be invaluable.
They have a new professional Christian Jonker who will also be their coach, the South African is a top order batsman and medium fast bowler he is joined by Richard Kee who has moved from Donemana.
Prediction: Ninth.

Killymallaght
They had a tremendous first season last year and they'll be hoping for something similar this time round, they have retained all of last seasons squad and the impressive Danza Hyatt will be returning as captain. There is some speculation about their ground being ready for the start of the season.
Prediction: Tenth.
