GELVIN Community Association outside Limavady are recording the history of their area and they want your help.
Earlier this year the Association and the Causeway Museum Service began the process of recording the history of old and abandoned dwellings in the Gelvin and drumsurn areas. They have made considerable progress but they are now anxious to contact anyone who at any time resided in the area.
Support
They are looking for your support in providing information and any other relevant data about homes and buildings in the area. Data would include such things as occupancy details or documents, as well as photographs.
If you can help this work please get in touch with: Liam Begley, 07732104470; Seamus Devlin, 02877764428; Henry Forsythe, 02877741363; Sean Farrell, 028 77741487; Eugene McCloskey, 02877742377, or Wilf Upton, 02877740271.
