THE semi finals of the Derry Senior Scor will take place this week end with the venues being Desertmartin on Friday evening and Glenullin on Saturday evening.
Fourteen clubs have entered and this is a growing improvement on previous years. The line up for the Desertmartin semi final is Magherafelt, Desertmartin, Slaughtneil, Sean Dolan's, Loup and Claudy. The seven teams at Glenullin are Banagher, Ballinderry, Glenullin, Ballerin, Drumsurn, Glen and Castledawson.
Scor is the social part of the GAA where teams compete against each other in quiz, song, dance, music, drama and recitation. Last year Derry were recognised by the Ulster GAA Council as the most improved county in Scor.
