Senior DUP figure William Hay has warned time’s running out for those wishing to vote by post or by proxy as well as for those who haven’t yet registered to vote.

“The application deadline for postal and proxy votes is the fourteenth of April and people who aren’t registered to vote also need to do so by the eighteenth of April.

“Anyone who needs a form or who needs help filling one out is very welcome to call in to the DUP office.

“It’s all about encouraging everyone to vote and ensuring that the only unionist who can win a seat, Gary Middleton, does so.”
