Overturned lorry closes A2
An overturned lorry has forced the closure of the A2 close to the City of Derry Airport.
A police spokesman said: “Motorists are advised that the Clooney Road in Derry/Londonderry has been closed due to an overturned lorry on the roundabout close to the Airport”.
The driver has been injured. His condition is described as “serious but not life threatening”.
Traffic has been backed up for some time, and local diversions are in place.
Emergency service vehicles are at the scene.
