Tickets available for city Dragon Safari

TICKETS are currently available for Londonderry’s Dragon Safari in St Columb’s Park on Monday, October 29 and Tuesday, October 30 between 1 and 5pm (latest admission 4.30pm) and on Wednesday, October 31, between 1 and 3pm (last admission at 2.30pm).

Tickets are currently available from Derry City Council Offices, the Tower Museum and St Columb’s Park Leisure Centre priced at £10 for a family ticket (2 adults, 2 children) or £3 for a single ticket. Tickets will also be available on the day from the Gate at St Columb’s Park.

Mayor Kevin Campbell said the dragon safari was a unique opportunity for children to interact with the huge animated figures.

“Not only is it a great way of encouraging families to use the park and get active but it’s a fun event that every member of the family can be part of.”

The dragon safari event is one of a number of family focused events taking place in the city over the Halloween break. The Banks of the Foyle Hallowe’en Carnival is supported by NITB and is the perfect opportunity for people outside the city to make a date and visit the city.

Further details about the festival can be found on www.derrycity.gov.uk/halloween.
