The taxman is recruiting 200 graduates.

Offering a diverse and challenging start to their career path, the graduates will be supported and guided through Her Majesty’s Revenue and Custom’s (HMRC) four year Tax Specialist Programme.

They will gain first-hand experience of investigating tax fraud to negotiating settlements, while developing skills to tackle complex issues and lead their own team of tax professionals.

HMRC is searching for motivated and dedicated graduates with at least a 2:2 degree, in any subject, to apply for the scheme.

Edward Troup, Tax Assurance Commissioner, HMRC said:

“HMRC’s work touches everyone in the UK. What we do is challenging and hugely varied.

“We are looking for intelligent and driven graduates who are up to a challenge and want to help keep the UK working.”
