Stellar line up for Culture night
LONDONDERRY is looking forward to a Cultural Night on the town this Friday with citizens encouraged to join thousands of people across the island as they take to local museums, galleries, churches, historic houses, artist’s studios and cultural centres for a free day and night of entertainment.
Derry City Council’s Event organiser, Elaine Griffin said: “The only problem people are going to have this Friday is deciding where to go. The programme features a stellar line up of the best in local musical talent in Guildhall Square which will be complemented by an evening speciality market.
“Also included is a fashion workshop, dance exhibitions and a Cultural Treasure Trail which will help people to discover our unique city.
“We would like to take the opportunity to thank all participating venues for their support this year and look forward to even bigger and brighter new things for 2013.”
