Ripped off tag and threw it away
A Shantallow teenager who ripped off an electronic tag and threw it away last month, will be conditionally discharged in 12 months if he pays security company G4S £71.10 in compensation and doesn't come before the courts again within that time.
Ethan Irvine (18), of Liscloon Drive, self-reported to police after taking the tag off on May 3, stating: “I ripped the tag off and threw it away,” Derry Magistrate’s Court has heard. He was ordered to pay G4S compensation for the damage and given a conditional discharge.
