Reveller in blue Christmas jumper broke man’s jaw

Police in Londonderry are hunting a festive reveller who broke a man’s jaw whilst wearing a Christmas jumper over the recent holiday period.

Police are appealing for information following the report of the serious assault on the man in the Buncrana Road area of Londonderry in the early hours of Sunday, December 20, 2015.

He sustained a broken jaw as a result of this assault.

The assailant is described as being approximately 5’10”, of a large muscular build, with black hair and wearing a blue jumper with a Christmas design on it.

Constable James Fletcher would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this assault or who has any information to contact police at Strand Road on the non-emergency number 101.
