PSNI appeal over stabbing



Police in Foyle are appealing for information after reports of a stabbing in the Waterside.

A SPNI spokesperson said that a man reported being stabbed in the shoulder in an alleyway in the area of Drumbane Gardens and Nelson Drive.

The incident occurred sometime around 11.30pm on Friday, November 22.

“The victim sustained two minor wounds requiring stitches,” the spokeswoman said.

She continued: “Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police on 0845 600 8000. Alternatively, contact a member of your local Neighbourhood Team directly, details of which can be found on the PSNI website.”
