Police arrest man after two women assaulted
A man was arrested in Lurgan last night (Saturday) after assaulting two women, one of them elderly.
Police who attended the domestic abuse call discovered that the suspect had made off, but located him quickly after a search.
He was arrested on two counts of assault.
The PSNI have appealed to anyone who witnesses a crime, or is the victim of one, especially in their home, to contact them. “Don’t suffer in silence” is their message.
