The Pink Ladies will be joined by the Pink Panthers tomorrow, Thursday, for a protest over what they regard as harsh benefit policies.
Both the Ladies and the Panthers have appealed for support from members of the public for their protest.
They will be picketing outside the Medical Assessment Centre on the Strand Road from 5.15pm. It is not the first time the Pink Ladies have staged a public protest outside the Medical Assessment Centre.
A spokeswoman for the organisation said: “Join the Pink Ladies Lobbying and Campaign in their protest against the ongoing Work Capability Assessment (WCA) as part of the ESA Benefit Entitlement carried out by ATOS at the Medical Assessment Centre, Strand Road.
The Pink Ladies will continue to demonstrate and challenge this process. Show your support.”
