Lurgan road, closed due to icy conditions, has reopened says PSNI

The PSNI says a Lurgan road, which was closed this morning due to ‘icy conditions’ has now reopened.

In a statement this morning, a spokesperson for the PSNI said: “Road users are advised to exercise caution on the New Line in Lurgan due to icy conditions.”

This road has since reopened.

There was a widespread frost across the Upper Bann area and roads in the Craigavon, Portadown and Banbridge areas were suffering from icy road conditions. There are no reports of any crashes at this time.
