Open Mic nights are back at the Alley

This summer enjoy seven nights of raw talent as Josh Clarke from ‘The Brambles’ brings the ever so popular Open Mic Nights back to the Alley Theatre Bar this July and August.

Commencing on Thursday, July 16 and running every Thursday night until August 27 all ages and all styles of performers - musicians of all genres, comedians, poets, dancers, circus performers, prose writers, magicians, and singers are all welcome to get on stage in the Alley Bar.

As previous years open mic nights have proved these are an excellent opportunity to take your first steps as a performer, to showcase or ‘test out’ new material, or just to meet and socialise with like-minded musicians.

From an audience’s perspective, you get a night of entertainment from a selection of musicians, which could be of any style on any instrument – it all depends on who’s there on the night. It you have a yearning to perform, want to meet some musicians or simply want to enjoy a great night in a great environment, and watch the performances, come along and see a wonderful line up.
