DUP MP Gregory Campbell has expressed disappointment that some members of pop group 'Girls Aloud' have made public appearances without wearing a Remembrance poppy.
Three members of the band, including Londonderry's Nadine Coyle appeared on ITV's breakfast show, GMTV, on Monday without wearing the symbol of remembrance for members of the forces who died during conflicts throughout the twentieth century.

rs Kimberley Walsh and Sarah Harding wore the Poppy, whilst Nadine Coyle, Cheryl Cole and Nicola Roberts did not.
Gregory Campbell told the Sentinel that those in the public eye and who are role models for younger generations should try and set an example when it came to the issue.
"It's disappointing when those with a high profile do not take the opportunity to do this," he said.
The DUP man also stated there was a more important facet to the issue of wearing a poppy in the remembrance period.
Mr Campbell said: "More importantly, this is most symbolic of those who laid down their lives in conflicts to preserve freedom.
"Protestants, Catholics and those of no religion sacrificed themselves to give freedom of choice to those who also decide not to wear the poppy.
"Perhaps those who decline should think about this because it may concentrate their minds on this issue."
