The proprietors of Moville guest house, the Inishowen Lodge, are celebrating after online travel reviewer rated them as the number one B&B in Donegal.

Irwin and Olga Thompson are the proud winners of Tripadvisor’s 2015 Travellers’ Choice award.

As well as earning them the top B&B in Donegal title, according to Tripadvisor, this also puts them in Irelands’ top 20 B&Bs.

They were congratulated by Moville bar and restaurant owner, Eddie Harkin of Rosato’s, and John McDaid of Inish Fusion.

According to Mr Thompson: “Rosato’s, the Winner of the Best Traditional Pub award, oozes atmosphere while Inish Fusion and offers an excellent choice of food in a modern, contemporary setting.

“This Moville tourist team working together is committed to providing the real Inishowen experience and promoting Moville as a tourist destination.”

The Inishowen Lodge B&B is situated in Ballyrattan three kilometres south of Moville and 25 kilometres north of Londonderry.

The house is approximately one kilometre off the main road, giving peace and quiet, with spectacular views over Lough Foyle.
