Mayor hails Donegal after win

THE Mayor of Londonderry Kevin Campbell has congratulated the Donegal Gaelic Football team on their victory over Mayo in the All Ireland football final on Sunday.

He said: “It was wonderful to see the colour and jubilation as our close neighbours Donegal became deserved winners of the All Ireland crown for only the second time in 20 years.

“I would like to extend my congratulations to the management and team on their victory and I’m sure that they, and all their many supporters, will enjoy their celebrations over the next couple of days.”
