Man suffers injuries during Co Antrim incident
A man in his 50s sustained a number of injuries following an incident in Co Antrim during the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police said the incident happened at Edward Road in Whitehead.
Detectives have charged a 23-year-old male with aggravated burglary and attempting to inflict grievous bodily harm and possession of a class B controlled drug.
He is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on Monday.
