Orange Hall attackanother hate crime
Police are investigating an incident of criminal damage at Strawletterdallon Orange Hall, Plumbridge Road, Newtownstewart, later on the night of Tuesday, May 3.
Shortly after 7am this morning it was reported that a number of windows and the door of the hall had been damaged.
Police are treating this incident as a hate crime and Inspector Alison Ferguson is appealing for anyone with any information that can assist with the investigation to contact officers in Strabane Police Station on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
It’s at least the third attack on the hall this year.
Windows were smashed at the hall in two attacks in February, whilst protective doors and windows were installed after arson in 2011.
