Masked men in '˜house invasion'

Police are investigating an aggravated burglary that occurred at a residential premises in Glenmore Gardens, Limavady.

Detective Sergeant Gallagher said: “Around 11.30pm on Sunday, October 9, entry was gained to the premises by a group of masked males. Considerable damage was caused to the ground floor of the premises but no one was injured. Three males were arrested in relation to the incident, however one of them has since been released unconditionally and the other two males remain in police custody.

We are appealing to anyone who may have any information or to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to contact detectives at Coleraine Reactive and Organised Crime on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 46 on 09/10/16. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
