'˜Grass' seized from three city houses

Herbal cannabis was seized during police raids at three houses in Ballymagroarty on Monday, February 8.

Police in Londondery carried out a number of searches as part of ongoing efforts to disrupt the sale and supply of drugs in local communities.

Reports will be forwarded to the PPS in relation to a 41 year old man and a 21 year old man.

Herbal cannabis and drug related items were also recovered at a property in the Waterside.

Chief Inspector Tony Callaghan said: “Our illegal drugs operations rely on a combination of proactive policing and information from the community. The majority of people accept that drugs are ruining our communities and we are grateful for the continued co-operation of the public as we work to tackle this issue.”
