The Brethren at City of Londonderry Grand Orange Lodge held their annual election of officers on Saturday.

There was a large turnout of Brethren and Rev David Reid from Ardstraw was also in attendance.

The officers elected were: City Grand Master, James Hetherington; Deputy City Grand Master, Maurice Devenney; Chaplain, Rev Ivan Dinsmore; Deputy Chaplain, Rev Mervyn Lindsay; Deputy Chaplain, Rev John Noble; Lay Chaplain, William Jamieson; Secretary, Ernest McCay; Deputy Secretary, Stephen Burns; Assistant Deputy Secretary, Gary Middleton; Treasurer, William Wray; Grand Treasurer, Donald Eakin; Lecturer, George Hunter; Grand Lecturer, Kenneth Kincaid; Tyler, David McKeegan; Director of Ceremonies, George Wylie; Chief Marshal, David Ramsey; Standard Bearer, Alwyn Hogg, and Press Officer, Victor Wray.

Tea was served after the formal business by the Ladies of the social club and a very enjoyable meeting was had by all.

The incoming officers are wished all the best for the coming year.
